A Gateway to Professional Market Strategy Solutions

Providing a full-range digital service solution for market investments, Upro stands as a professional platform dedicated to enhancing market strategies with digital innovation.

Upro is tailored for Alibaba‘s internal ecosystem businesses. It focuses on pre-investment customer definition, in-investment media strategy, and post-investment efficiency analysis for a holistic service approach.

PROBLEM

The product focuses on external marketing investments for business lines. It was developed around the pain points of market department crowd data, offering professional products and customized service capabilities.

goal

The main stakeholder in this product is Alibaba Group's marketing department. With a huge budget, the goal of this 0 to 1 project is to create a digital solution for marketers to maximize their marketing return on investment and efficiently utilize their marketing budget.

my role

As the lead product designer from 0 to 1, I initiate and develop a product from the ground up. This includes understanding user needs, ideating, prototyping, testing, and iterating to create a viable product that meets market demands. I work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to bring a concept to life, ensuring it is user-friendly and aligned with business goals.

KEY FEATURES

01. INSIGHT OVERVIEW

Enhance business insights with foundational user-space awareness: Determine the size of your business's audience and target market, along with the penetration rate within the industry. Identify the distribution channels where your target audiences are located internally and externally.

 

02. Crowd Generation

Target groups can be created within the crowd center through various methods such as tagging, behaviour tracking, uploads, and imports from other systems. The cross-domain mutual selection feature further refines audience targeting in a secure, compliant way, boosting advertising budget efficiency.

 

03 market Strategy

Select the target audience at the center of the crowd to instantly know their spatial distribution across various media placements and obtain the coverage situation of your target audience under a customized media resource combination, thereby formulating the best media strategy.

Developing a SaaS product from the ground up (from 0 to 1) begins with identifying a genuine market need and crafting a unique offering that stands out. Research and user experience take priority, ensuring your solution not only meets a specific demand but is also user-friendly and engaging. Scalability, security, and a clear understanding of your target audience are fundamental as you design a product that grows without compromising performance or data safety.
